Work in Progress: Advancing Concrete Placement at the Audubon Governor Nicholls & Esplanade Wharf
The transformation of Louisiana’s riverfront continues to take shape—one pour at a time. At the Audubon Governor Nicholls & Esplanade Wharf project, D. Honoré Construction is proud to be leading the charge in delivering high-quality architectural and colored concrete installations that blend durability with design.
Our crews are currently advancing the placement and finishing of sidewalks, flatwork, and decorative concrete surfaces throughout the site. Each pour is carefully coordinated to meet the design intent and maintain the consistency expected from architectural-grade concrete. By using precise forming, reinforcement placement, and curing methods, we ensure long-term structural performance and an exceptional finish.
Beyond the technical execution, this project underscores what we value most—teamwork and safety. Our field professionals and office staff work in lockstep with project partners to plan, prepare, and execute each phase efficiently. Maintaining safety standards and consistent communication across teams keeps the project on schedule and reinforces our reputation for reliability.
Even in progress, the results speak for themselves. The colored and architectural concrete elements at the Wharf are already enhancing the landscape, setting the stage for a finished environment that reflects both functionality and artistry.
As the project continues, D. Honoré Construction remains focused on the same principles that have defined us since 1998—trust, integrity, and excellence. We look forward to delivering another completed project that Louisiana can be proud of for years to come.
